Spiral welded pipe unit is used for the production of diameter (89 ~ 2450)mm×(0.5 ~ 25.4)mm, length of 6 ~ 35m large diameter steel pipe. The production mode is continuous and discontinuous, the unit adopts spiral forming, and the welding is carried out in two steps: pre-welding and final welding. The forming and pre-welding (spot welding) is performed on a spiral shaper, followed by internal and external submerged arc welding on the final welding equipment

It is necessary to develop high value-added large-deformation pipeline steel for industrial applications as soon as possible, steel for hot bending pipe, steel for low temperature pipe fittings for pipeline stations, X100 straight seam submerged arc welded pipe, spiral seam submerged arc welded pipe and hot bending spiral welded pipe.
